Product API

A product catalog that any website can fetch as JSON, managed from a small admin.

Product API gives a website a product catalog without requiring a full ecommerce platform. The owner manages products once in a protected admin, and any site reads them from a documented JSON endpoint. What it does: create, edit, and delete products with server-side validation; upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images that are resized and converted to WebP; filter the catalog by category; and read everything from /api/v1/products, with API documentation at /docs. How it is built: Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript, PostgreSQL through pg, zod validation, and a signed-cookie admin session. It ships on its own VPS containers with an independent GitHub Actions pipeline. Status: MVP in progress. The live catalog uses sample data.
